13 Years of Mike's
Hobo Stew
That's
right, 13 years of good fixin's on Labor
day. Mike (the Amishman) Taylor cooks it
all in a big black kettle, mm' good
stuff...corn beef, ham, turkey,
carrot's, sweet corn, red skin potatoes,
and cabbage. And for dessert, fresh
peach cobbler from a Great Aunt that
lives in North Carolina. Watermelon,
cakes and pies homemade from the fine
ladies. And to top it off, Mike's
Homemade vanilla and chocolate Ice
Cream, mm' good. Every labor day
somebody brings a little something for
the pot on Sunday for Hobo stew.
Everybody had plenty and nobody went
diving after they ate. |
