The PQ Dive Team, led by PADI Instructor Michelle Ulrich-Thomas, represented Portage Quarry at the 2011 Scubafest held in Columbus, Oh March 18-20. The PQ Team included Michelle's husband, Dive Master Rick Thomas. A featured guest of the event was Sean Fisher, grandson of famed treasure hunter, Mel Fisher. Sean displayed beautiful recovered treasures from the famous wreck, the Atocha, discovered by Mel in 1985 off the coast of Key West, Florida.
