Introduction by Dr. Sam Miller and talking about the 2 masks that were hand made by Charlie Sturgil. Only 3 in whole world.

Introduction by Sam Lecocq (talk about new book).

Raffle - Prize Drawing

1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m.

Alec Peirce, renowned Sea Hunt memorabilia collector, will introduce actress, stunt woman, and famous female diver, Zale Parry. She will also draw the prize.

Dr. Sam Miller will draw a prize and talk more about the Charlie Sturgil masks.

4:00 p.m. Talk about the dive at 5:00 p.m. and also talk about the record dive. Where people should be staging at to get ready for the dive.

Zale Parry will talk about her up coming 8:30 p.m. show, special ecology in saving the ocean (shown on the big screen).

5:00 p.m. World record dive attempt (Dr. Sam Miller and Sam Lecocq will blow the horn to start the dive at 5:00).
6:00 p.m.

All divers will get their log books stamped with the SPECIAL rubber stamp for their log books.

7:00 p.m.

Grand Prize drawing for Belize, trip for two. *MUST be present to win the trip*.

7:30 p.m. Introduction to Sportsways by founder and former President Sam Lecocq. Sam has found the only 16 mm film left of the promotion of the company in its beginning in 1958.You will love the movie. It’s definitely a great find and save for the archives. Sam will give some more insight into Sportsways and the filming of this movie. And of course the young engineer running around in the factory is really Sam Lecocq.

All prizes must be picked up and claimed at this time. IF not, they will go on Sunday’s drawing.

(Prizes will be displayed all day on Saturday on a 4x8 sheet of plywood along with the name and ticket number of the winner. You must bring your ticket and show your number to claim your prize. All prizes will be picked up in the red and white tent located in the infield. The only prize you MUST be present for is the trip for two to Belize. ALL prizes must be claimed by 7:30 or they will be kept and put into Sunday’s drawing).

8:30 p.m. Zale Parry showing of her conservation films and movies of her works in saving the oceans and the planet. She will give a brief talk about her activities in keeping the planet safe.
8:30 p.m. Creature Feature: Creature from the Black Lagoon in 3-D! * get your 3-D glasses before the show at the red and white tent ($1.50)* This 1954 classic stars, starring Richard Carlson, Julia Adams, along with Ben Chapman and Rico Browning. Rico Browning did stunt work in the original sea hunt. Also showing will be original episodes of Sea Hunt starring: Zale Parry.

9:00 a.m. Setting up for swap meet in front of the stage on the tables
9:30 a.m.

Good morning introduction from Dr. Sam Miller and reminder about the famous Charlie Sturgil mask (which are being shown in the dive shop under guard) LAST CHANCE to see them.

Autographs, Question and Answer period

10:00 a.m.

Alec Peirce introduction to Sea Hunt, his memorabilia collection and a brief talk about his items.

10:30 a.m.

Alec will introduce Zale Parry, actress, stuntwoman, famous female diver, and conservationist of the oceans. Zale will talk about the various movies that she starred in including Sea Hunt. She will also talk about filming at Marine Land in Los Angeles and in the Keys of Florida.

12:00 p.m.

Sam Lecocq will talk about his book that he has been writing and his very famous babysitter that he influenced into diving.

Sam will also talk about early equipment and problems, which are written in his new book, Unfog the Mask; Evolution, Intrigue and Controversy in the development of SCUBA, about Equipment he invented for the sport.

Prize Drawing

1:00 p.m.

Drawing by Bryan Pennington of Vintage double hose. He will be giving away a vintage double hose that has been completely rebuilt. Some lucky diver will receive a very valuable piece of history that is divable.

Dr. Sam Miller, final presentation and last chance to see the Sturgil mask.

Question and Answer period

3:00 p.m.

Autographs with Question and Answer period.

Remaining Prize Drawings

4:00 p.m. Good byes, final dives and autographs.
  • Our insurance does not allow the filling of tanks on site by portable air compressors. You will have to sign a liability sheet for diving and vintage diving. We will fill all tanks that are current with visuals and hydro’s. And you must have log book and certification card.

  • Divers normal rate $ 10.00 per day, camping $5.00 extra.

  • Special day, Saturday 11th, $20.00. Weekend pass Friday through Sunday, $35 does not include camping. Admission only, camping $4.00 extra each night. No instructor discounts this weekend.
