A 70-foot visibility reading was taken along the West wall
on August 12,
2005 by Tom Wyble. Some
remarkable readings have been taken as of late,
with high visibilities
early in the day and in low traffic areas such
as the West wall. The average recorded for 2005 is 33 feet and the
4-year average is 36 feet.
Fluctuations in visibility may vary
with each
dive. Generally, on
good diving days you can expect better visibility
in the morning.
